In another post, the streaming giant said the crime drama series — also known as La Casa de Papel — will be coming to an end in season five.“We’ve spent almost a year thinking about how to break up the band. How to put the Professor on the ropes. How to get into situations that are irreversible for many characters. The result is the fifth part of La Casa de Papel,” Alex Pina, creator and executive producer said,
“The war reaches its most extreme and savage levels, but it is also the most epic and exciting season.”
Production on all of Netflix’s original series was temporarily halted due to the coronavirus pandemic.
It is, however, believed that production on the 10-episode final season will begin on August 3, while the series will be filmed in Spain, Portugal and Denmark.
